Community

I just wanted to take the time to say to the skeptics in this world, there is a such thing as real genuine community. I have had the opportunity to be a part of a small group that has just proven to me over and over by the grace of God that community is possible. It's not easy, it's not automatic...but IT IS WORTH IT. I prayed fervently a year ago that the Lord would provide us with a people group here that we could be real with, that we could share life with, and that would show us Him. We have been beyond blessed to be a part of a homegroup at the Village church. We have grown with these people, prayed with them, cried with them, struggled with big and little decisions with them, and they have loved us in a way that people without Jesus cannot do. Even more so, Justin and I are in a major time of change in our life. From the moment we began this journey to seek out what exactly the Lord was calling us to, they have stood by our side, shared truth with us, called us out in our unbelief, and provided for us in amazing ways. We are getting ready to move to be closer to our community group, to be involved in the heart of the city God called us to live in, and to shed our life of some of the things that bring us away from the Lord. God has provided for us clearly through His body. Do you have a person or group of people that bring you back to the throne?
